Sixt at Sofia were brilliant. New VW Polo, full tank, no damage issues. They even helped me with a local SIM card recommendation. Will 100% book with them again.

One of the less theatrical counters in the terminal, with clear damage marking, but fuel disputes do pop up because the refill expectation is more exact than some renters expect.

There is a clear big-brand professionalism here and the lot is easy to find, but additional driver, glass cover and border permissions all add up quickly.

Pickups are usually calm and the car condition is acceptable, though return desk coordination can be sloppy during ski season and paperwork sometimes lags behind vehicle check-in.
