1. About ReviewCarHire

ReviewCarHire is an independent online platform that allows travellers to read and submit honest, experience-based reviews of car hire locations worldwide. We aggregate these reviews to help other travellers make more informed decisions when renting a car.

ReviewCarHire is not a car hire company, booking agent, or travel agency. We do not directly rent cars, manage bookings, or set rental policies. All bookings made through our site are facilitated by third-party providers (including our affiliate partner Vipcars/SupplyCars), and those bookings are subject to the terms and conditions of the respective provider.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing, browsing, or using the Site in any way — including submitting a review, creating an account, or interacting with any content — you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you are using the Site on behalf of an organisation, you represent and warrant that you have the authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.

If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use the Site. Accessing the Site while disagreeing with these Terms is done at your own risk.

By submitting a review to ReviewCarHire, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable, perpetual licence to publish, display, reproduce, modify, distribute, and create derivative works from your review content in connection with the operation of the Site and the promotion of ReviewCarHire. This licence includes the right to use your review in marketing materials, social media, and partner platforms.

Your display name or pseudonym will be shown alongside your review. Your email address will not be published. You retain all moral rights in the content you submit.

When using the Site, you agree not to:

• Use the Site for any purpose that is unlawful, fraudulent, or prohibited by these Terms
• Submit false, misleading, defamatory, or fraudulent reviews or content
• Interfere with or disrupt the operation of the Site or its underlying infrastructure
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Site, user accounts, or connected systems
• Use automated tools (scrapers, bots, crawlers) to extract or harvest content from the Site without our written permission
• Reproduce, redistribute, or commercially exploit any content from the Site without written permission
• Impersonate any person or entity, or falsely represent your affiliation with any person or entity
• Upload or transmit any viruses, malware, or other malicious code

ReviewCarHire is a platform for user-submitted reviews. The views and opinions expressed in individual reviews are those of the reviewers alone and do not represent the views of ReviewCarHire. While we take reasonable steps to moderate content, we do not independently verify the accuracy, completeness, or currency of any review or other content published on the Site.

Car hire rental policies, pricing, vehicle availability, and supplier details change frequently. The information presented on the Site — including supplier ratings, location details, and price comparisons — is provided for informational purposes only. Always confirm all details directly with the car hire supplier before booking.

ReviewCarHire does not process bookings or handle payments. When you book a car through a widget or link on our Site, you are entering into a direct contract with the car hire supplier (or a booking platform acting on their behalf). ReviewCarHire has no control over, and accepts no responsibility for:

• The accuracy of booking details entered by the supplier or booking platform
• The availability of vehicles, pricing, or rental policies at the time of booking
• The actions or omissions of car hire suppliers or booking platforms
• Any disputes, charges, or issues arising from a booking made through a third-party link
• The condition of vehicles, insurance coverage, or any charges levied by suppliers at the rental counter

Any complaints or claims arising from a car hire booking should be directed to the relevant supplier or booking platform directly.

11. Intellectual Property

The ReviewCarHire name, logo, website design, layout, text, graphics, software, and all other content on the Site (excluding user-submitted review content) are the intellectual property of ReviewCarHire or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any of our content without prior written consent. You may share links to our pages freely.

User-submitted review content remains the intellectual property of the respective reviewer, subject to the licence granted in Section 5 above.

12. Account Suspension and Termination

We reserve the right to suspend, restrict, or terminate your access to the Site — including your account and any submitted reviews — at our sole discretion, without prior notice, for conduct that:

• Violates these Terms in any way
• Is fraudulent, deceptive, or misleading
• Harms, defames, or threatens any person or entity
• Interferes with the operation or security of the Site
• Exceeds reasonable use limits (e.g., excessive account creation or review submissions)

If your account is terminated, you must not create a new account or continue using the Site. Termination of an account does not affect any rights that have accrued to us prior to termination, including the licence to content you have already submitted.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which ReviewCarHire operates. For disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Site, the courts of that jurisdiction shall have exclusive jurisdiction.

If you are a consumer located in the European Union, the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or another jurisdiction with mandatory consumer protection laws, you may also have the right to bring proceedings in your local courts in accordance with applicable consumer protection legislation.

Your use of the Site is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal information. By using the Site, you consent to our data practices as described in that policy.

15. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, that provision shall be severed from the Terms, and the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and ReviewCarHire regarding your use of the Site and supersede all prior agreements, representations, and understandings, whether written or oral.
