Older car but ran perfectly. English GPS was usable and the toll card made highway driving simple. Good value.

Kansai International Airport Car Hire — Massive Lot, Free Shuttle, Best Base for Kyoto/Osaka/Nara
Off-airport collection with free shuttle (12 minutes). JR Kansai Airport Station is on the Haruka Express to Kyoto (75 minutes). Car is essential for Nara and Mount Koya.
