Arrivals hall in August is bedlam, but Sixt's express desk had us driving in 15 minutes. VW Passat was spotless with working AC — not a given in Turkey.

Insurance upsell was aggressive — they tried adding €18/day after we'd paid for excess waiver online. Car was fine once past the desk. Take photos of everything.

Antalya Airport Zezgo — rock-bottom price, read the fine print
Cheapest by far but deposit was €1,200 and they insisted on their excess insurance. Older car with 80,000km ran fine. Not for the risk-averse traveller.
