Emerald Club member and walked straight to the car. Chose a Jeep Grand Cherokee and drove off in under ten minutes. The only rental experience at MIA that didn't feel like waiting.

Convertible Mustang was the obvious choice and Hertz delivered. Staff warned about hotel parking rates in South Beach which saved us significant money. Worth the premium.

March madness meant 45 minutes in line, but once we reached the counter the staff were efficient and our Jeep Compass had that new-car smell still. Return was surprisingly smooth.
