Los Angeles Hertz is quick by LAX standards, which is saying something

Shuttle wait plus paperwork still totalled 28 minutes, but that counts as efficient here, and the Chevy Malibu was cleaner than many rivals manage after red-eye arrivals.

Los Angeles Enterprise gets families moving with minimal drama

Friendly staff, clear child-seat pricing and a properly prepped Nissan Rogue made this one of the easier LAX rentals, even if the desk still floated an unnecessary roadside bundle.

Los Angeles Sixt looks glamorous until the bill thickens

The counter and fleet both impress, but the optional protections are eye-wateringly priced and the initial pre-authorisation can startle anyone who only glanced at the booking confirmation.

Los Angeles Airport Avis — In-N-Out adjacent convenience

The proximity to the famous In-N-Out is a bonus, but the real win was a seamless midnight pickup when our flight was delayed. Staff didn't even blink at the late arrival.

Los Angeles Airport Thrifty — LAX reality

The rental bus loop at LAX is its own circle of hell, but Thrifty's counter moved faster than expected. Toyota Camry was clean and return signage was actually visible for once.
