Honolulu Airport Hertz — aloha spirit with rental car reality

The lei-scented marketing is real, but so are the Waikiki parking warnings. Staff were helpful about island driving tips and our Mustang convertible was perfect for the coastal roads.

Honolulu Airport Budget — island value

Budget was the best value we found at HNL. The Toyota Corolla had island miles but ran fine for our Oahu circle island trip. Staff were genuinely friendly, not just customer-service friendly.
