Phuket Airport Dollar — tourist trap vibes but the car worked

Long queue, aggressive insurance pitch, but the Honda CR-V was clean. Read the fuel policy carefully.

Phuket Airport National — island luxury option

Premium counter with no queue. The BMW X3 was overkill for Phuket roads but made the trip memorable. Pricey but worth it.

Phuket Airport Budget — island budget

Cheapest option we found. The Honda City was older but ran fine. Document every scratch — return was smooth.
