Heathrow is Heathrow, so I was expecting nonsense. But they moved people through decently and we got the exact class booked. Not cheap, around £190 for two days, but it did the job.

Main issue was the queue. After a red-eye I just wanted keys and coffee. Car itself was absolutely fine once we got it.

Hybrid fleet was clean but the premium over budget brands was notable. Staff were passionate about environmental impact.

Terminal 5 pickup was straightforward despite the maze. Staff were helpful about the Congestion Charge and ULEZ, which saved us from an expensive mistake later.

Price was attractive but we waited nearly an hour while two staff managed a snaking line. Car was acceptable, documentation thorough, but time-conscious travellers should look elsewhere.
